A Lucidchart alternative for org charts
Lucidchart is a full diagramming suite with real-time collaboration, and it is priced and built for that. If what you actually need is an org chart built from an employee list, ChartChalk is narrower and faster: no account to create, no document limit on the free tier, and the data never leaves your browser.

Questions
Is ChartChalk really free?
Building, editing and exporting a PNG with a small watermark is free, with no account. Pro adds watermark-free PNG, PDF, SVG, PowerPoint and CSV export, unlimited saved workspaces, share links, and next-year targets with cascade planning.
Can my team collaborate on a chart?
Not by editing together live. On Pro you can send a link that opens the whole chart, interactive but read-only, and nothing is stored on a server along the way: the chart travels inside the link itself.
Can I move my Lucidchart org chart across?
If you have the employee list behind it, yes: drop that spreadsheet in and the chart rebuilds itself. ChartChalk does not import Lucid documents directly.
